DESCRIPTION OF VAA NATIONAL COMMUNITY
ACTION PROJECT
The VAA National Community Action Project
is the only prevention measure we’ve seen that could
take a huge bite out of Identity Theft. The whole nation
needs to participate with us (thus the name: “VAA”
and the “nation” coupled with “community
action”: a project to be worked by us – one
and all).
Our mission and purpose at VAA is
to help on a state by state basis for the nation in Identity
Theft Issues. More specifically: to help each victim
personally with their problem on the financial side of their
crime - Helping with the credit reports, protecting and
locking-down of the victim’s credit against further
abuse and instruction in what to do with each item found
in their specific instance that needs to be addressed as
each problem arises.
Because our main mission is the bold print
above, we would like to kick off the existence of our organization
with a grand gesture of supplying prevention measures for
the nation against Identity Theft and then as our offices
are set up nationally in each state – move into and
have our main concentration and focus to be a “help
the victim” mode from then on which will include traveling
and giving prevention seminars and other ID Theft programs
for the
nation.
Right now if a criminal uses your name or
mine when they are thrown into prison – we are the
ones in contempt of court when we don’t show up. Did
you know that our children’s names and social security
numbers are being used all across the U.S. with this criminal
intent in mind? We need to crack down on Identity Theft
by beginning to be able to recognize if a shopper, employee,
or criminal is using your name, mine or their own. Don’t
let our family names go down in history tarnished with a
bad name, bad credit, or worse yet a criminal record at
the hand of these perpetrators!
Note: Our VAA President is a 17 year crime
victim and strongly believes in your privacy and privacy
rights for all Americans. After watching this crime for
17 years, though a very private person, she is now very
willing to show who she is wherever she goes and hopes you
are also. She believes it is in all of our best interests
to make everyone use correct information when shopping,
when employed, and when being put in jail thus forcing those
who grossly take advantage of innocent U.S. citizens to
show their correct info also – or, pay the consequences.
As a nation, we are getting I.D. Theft laws
put in place. It is against the law to show or use a fake
or stolen I.D. in the U.S. What good does that law do if
there is no way to detect that the person showing your I.D.
or mine is not in fact you or I? Until this prevention measure
is put in place we are sitting ducks to be one of the millions
of victims of the nation’s #1 and fastest growing
crime.
There is equipment/technology available now
that can detect a fake I.D. If networked into the police
and DMV (Department of Motor Vehicle) databases –
it will also detect a stolen I.D. The Social Security Administration
could also give their “yea” or “neigh”
verifying if an I.D. has been reported as stolen or not.
This networking would then become a National Fraud
Alert System for the nation. We would only be supplying
the initial equipment all across the U.S. that is capable
of being networked in the future if legislation is put in
place to do so. It would immediately start detecting fake
I.D.s and would expand as needed.
We at VAA propose to supply the initial equipment
all across the country by donation to the airports and police
cruisers where we direly need prevention measures put in
place immediately and for sell to all retailers, human resource
departments, for all of the nation’s cash registers,
to temp firms, secure buildings, to closing attorneys, and
anyone else who may be selling to or hiring perpetrators
of Identity Theft.
If those purchasing this equipment (or donating
for the airport/police part of this project) get it only
from VAA (and we deal directly with the manufacturers for
you) you will see two things happen:
#1: A huge dent will be blasted through these
identity theft perpetrators who blatantly use your name
and mine.
#2: For each piece of equipment that VAA places ( whether
you donate to VAA for your airport and police, or you purchase
through VAA for your businesses, secure buildings, jails,
etc) we will receive a donation (rather than commission)
from each manufacturer to help VAA (following this project)
to have the where-with-all to immediately set up 50 offices
in 50 states and supply every state with financially trained
directors to help these victims personally through their
problems and to run our prevention and awareness programs
in every state.
PLEASE BACK
THIS PROJECT IN ANY WAY THAT YOU CAN!
So that we can get down to our Real Mission:
HELPING VICTIMS OF IDENTITY THEFT.
